What is even better than that, is that three of my food blogger friends also made it into the Top 10 finals. I have respected and learned from these dudes for quite a while. Just being in their company and the other finalists makes me proud.
Go over the contest site [CLICK HERE! ALL THE COOL KIDS DO] to
1) Pick up some great ideas for grilling turkey
2) See what a dork I am in my video and
3) Vote for the video recipe that you like best.
I'm not asking you to vote for me because you like my blog. This shouldn't be a popularity contest like high school, it should be based on how we do things in real life....
So vote for MY video OR you hate America and the kitten gets it!

Just kidding. Check out the videos and vote for the one you like the best.
Way to go Chris!! Congratulations! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck Chris. You've got my vote.

I loved the video Chris! I actually learned something about the whole direct heat and indirect heat. It helped to see it visually instead of reading about it.
ReplyDeleteVoted for ya!
Since I've had your turkey before, YUM!!! Everyone should vote for you, plain. and. simple! : D
ReplyDelete{only punks threaten kittens!!!}
A big congrats on the top ten and your dish looks delicious. I thought your video was excellent, as they always are, and you weren't too awfully dorky (LOL)
ReplyDeleteMy ransom note said the 'teddy bear' would get it, are you the TN Teaser? I heard he is taking turkeys and kittens captive...
ReplyDeleteCongrats and what is up with you and hubby, he came home from work and ask me to make turkey and dressing- a bit early in the year for my taste buds, lol
Congrats Chris! That thai turkey is actually gorgeous...amazing picture. If it's as delicious as it looks, which I have intense faith that it is, then you've got my vote!
ReplyDeleteLoved the video - and the recipe looks amazing. What else do you have growing in your back yard?!? Of course I voted for you, but I didn't read the rules - are they "Chicago style" rules where we can vote more than once? Daily? Okay, I'll go back and read them. Good luck and congrats on making the top ten!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. Congratulations and my vote's in.
ReplyDeleteFree Kitty!
Congrats Chris! The dish looks amazing! As soon as I'm done with a little catch up here I'll go check out the videos :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Chris! Extremely cool! Did you know you had the following birds in your back yard singing and cheering you on in that video, Baby American Robin, adult American Robin, Cardinal and Tufted Titmouse. I did not hear any Wild Turkeys gobbling, I think they knew better. :-) That sauce looks amazing. I like sesame oil and never mind the strong flavor, but that's a good tip to dilute it if you feel it would be too strong for the dish. AND, I don't think I've ever seen a real live cayenne pepper! And last but not least, I voted for your video. That dish sounds wonderful and beautiful presentation. Kudos to you Chris.
ReplyDeleteI just watched your video and voted for your delicious looking dish. Great job explaining what you're doing. You're pretty smooth on camera!
ReplyDeleteThe turkey dish looks beautiful. I'll vote. Spare the kitten.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's pretty! I'll go check it out...congrats =)
ReplyDeleteYeah for you! I am off to vote.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Chris! Your video was great (your'e not dorky at all)! Your recipe looks fantastic, and I voted for you. Please spare the kitty! :-)
