Grove's Cajun Beef Rub

Grove's Cajun Beef Rub

2 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoon Onion powder
2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Cayenne
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 1/2 teaspoon White pepper
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Oregano

For my beef rub, I like the spices to be coarse, so instead of using store bought onion and garlic powder, I do a coarse grind of dried minced onion and garlic.

  1. I like your idea of grinding the onion and garlic. I dry my own herbs and veggies that I've grown so I know what's in them :) You've given me the great idea of addng onion and garlic to my list of dehyrated goodies. I'll be able to powder my own in the future. (I just found your blog by way of Pinterest and I'm looking forward to readng through your posts.)
